We offer a wide range of veterinary services. If there is something in particular you are interested in, please call us for an estimate. Some services cannot be quoted without seeing the pet.

Trip charge

The trip charge depends on your location and starts at $35.

Pets must be confined or readily available upon arrival. If not,
an additional charge of $25 may be assessed."

*Highly recommended, especially on older pets. This allows us to develop a baseline of normal values for the healthy pet and often helps us to catch medical problems early while they are still easily treated.

Preventatives

Heartworm preventation

We offer the monthly chewable tablet Iverhart Max.

Heartworm prevention requires a valid veterinarian-client-pet relationship, and a current heartworm test for dogs.


Flea control

We recommend Frontline Plus, which kills both fleas and ticks.

Available from Mobile Vet to Pet Rx. You can order at our online store for home delivery.  

Emergencies

Minor emergencies are worked in if possible, though an emergency fee does apply.

Serious emergencies are referred to After Hours Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Hickory 328-2660.
